What is Thrive Performance Golf Training?

Thrive Performance Golf Training focuses on the mental aspects of the game, helping golfers to master their concentration, focus, and ability to stay in the moment—all essential skills for success. With the motto, "Get your head in the game and your ball in the hole," Thrive's innovative two-step program combines advanced breathing regulation techniques and visualization exercises. Golfers learn to regulate their breathing while visualizing various shots, using wireless sensors to receive real-time feedback on their mental state. This feedback helps them reach the optimum state for performance, leading to improved focus, relaxation, and shot consistency.

Steven Noyek, President & CEO of Thrive Performance Golf Training, explained, “The difference between winning and losing often comes down to a golfer’s ability to stay in the moment, focus, and relax. We are excited to partner with CJGA to help elevate the performance of Canadian junior golfers on the global stage.

Thrive’s Chief Operating Officer, Joan Vogelesang, emphasized the impact of mental preparation: “You can have all the talent in the world, but without focus, concentration, and calm, you can’t win. Our program will help golfers develop these crucial skills.

Dr. Hal Myers, Chief Technology Officer at Thrive, brings over 50 years of experience in developing performance mind training systems. He said, “We are thrilled to have created a program specifically for golf. By partnering with CJGA, we look forward to helping Canadian juniors become the best golfers in the world.

This partnership reflects CJGA’s ongoing dedication to junior golfers’ development, equipping them with the physical and mental tools needed to excel on the world stage.
